Let’s see now what inspires you more – first love, nostalgia for the Motherland or longing for the homeland?

Come and join us to the exciting meeting on September 17, 2024 with our compatriot and long-time activist in the Bulgarian community since mid-1990s Jackie Slavenova! After 2019, she spends most of her time in Bulgaria.

The meeting will be held at the Burnaby Central Library, just meters away from the Metrotown Sky Train Station. The doors open at 6:15pm and the event starts at 6:30pm.

She will present her poetry collections “Trails”, “Longings” and “Return”, which are the fruit of inspiration and great love for God, the Motherland, her native region, family and friends.

You too can share your own poetry, songs or instrumental and become part of the friendly and artistic atmosphere of this unique open-house performance event.

50% of the funds from the books will be donated to the dance group “Kitka” and the Bulgarian Schools in Vancouver.

We will continue with dancing and festive mood in a nearby restaurant. So, don’t forget your muses and inspiration!
