Bulgaria will be presented at this year’s European Union Film Festival in Canada, which will take place from Nov 16th – 30th.

The festival will feature films from all 27 EU member states plus a film from Ukraine.

The films will be screened in theatres in Vancouver, Toronto, and Ottawa from Nov 16th – 30th, and the majority of them will also be available online from anywhere in Canada from Dec 1st – 17th.

“Mother” shows the story of Elena, a talented young theatre director who begins to realize that she may not be able to have children. In the midst of this existential crisis, she receives an invitation for a new project in Africa, which changes her life.
“Mother” is a film about finding new perspectives on life and parenthood.

The movie will be screened in Vancouver
on Nov 26th, Sunday at 8:20 PST
at The Cinematheque
