Workshop Session 1 (4:15 – 5:15 pm):

  • Bulgarian Traditional Games (gym) – Diana Hristova
  • Traditional Bulgarian Pogacha-bread – learn how to braid bread-dough into ancient ritualistic breads (senior center) – Mira Stoyanova / Lily Jekov
  • Make a Martenica – create a healing Good Luck-Charm for the Spring (senior center) – Viktoria Eftimova

Workshop Session 2 (5:30 – 6:30 pm):

  • The Magic of the Horo – Learn to Dance the Bulgarian Traditional Circle Dance (gym)
  • Create a Wooden Spoon Doll dressed in a Bulgarian Traditional Costume (senior center)
  • Glass painting (senior center)

DINNER & DANCE PARTY (7:00 – 11:00 pm) – $30/ adult; $15/ child (4-12 years); doors open at 6:30 pm
